Taye Akewusola brings over 25 years of upstream experience to Prime Waves, with deep expertise in geoscience and exploration across the Niger Delta and West African deep water basins.
Before joining Prime Waves, Taye held senior geoscience positions at ExxonMobil and Chevron Nigeria, where he was responsible for prospect generation, seismic interpretation and exploration drilling campaigns across some of the most technically challenging plays in the Gulf of Guinea.
His multi-basin experience spans onshore, shallow water and deep water settings, and he has managed teams across multiple international plays including the Arabian Peninsula and East Mediterranean basins.
He has worked extensively across the Niger Delta basin with major E&P companies, where he was responsible for wellsite geology, mud logging supervision, log interpretation and geological reporting. His operational experience covers both exploration and development drilling campaigns.
Babs also has significant expertise in logistics management, materials procurement and base operations — making him a critical bridge between subsurface planning and field execution at Prime Waves.
Tunde Omotoso is a Senior Geophysicist with over 15 years of experience across diverse geo-basins — spanning onshore, shallow water and deep water settings across Nigeria and international theatres.
His technical expertise covers the full geophysical workflow: seismic data acquisition QC, processing, interpretation, attribute analysis, velocity modelling and depth conversion. He has been a key technical contributor on many of Prime Waves' most complex projects, including the SNEPCO Bonga Extension and Nigdel OPL 233 campaigns.
Tunde has particular depth in geohazard assessment, AVO analysis and integrated seismic-to-well calibration techniques for improved reservoir delineation in turbidite and fluvio-deltaic plays.
